Matagorda crawfish & Cajun

bishopsbitter | Mar 2, 2012 10:31 AM

For what it's worth, I saw a sign in East Bernard yesterday advertizing a new version of Repka's Cajun restaurant opening "March 2012" in Matagorda. Since the original Repka's (rural location N of I-10 and San Felipe) do quite authentic Cajun and pretty good boiled crawfish & shrimp I thought it was at least worth mentioning. A beach-side platter of boiled crawfish could be a nice addition @ Matagorda. Perhaps they have taken over one of the existing restaurant business buildings in town. I do not have an address. And the original Repka's web site does not yet allude to a Matagorda offshoot.
Anyway, just something I spotted. FYI. Anyone with any further info would appreciate hearing it.
