One of the easiest ways to sample outstanding food and wine is to go to the "Masters" in late feb where several National and International Chefs will be cooking. We go almost every year and this year looks better than ever. Some of my favorite Chefs that are attending are ,Gary Danko,Bobby Flay,Gale Gand,Susan Goin,Laurent Gras,Jean Joho,Susur Lee(one of my all time favs),Nancy Oakes,Jacque Pepin(this guy can really cook),Eric Ripert,Hiro Sane,Susan Spicer, Suzanne Tracht,Sherry Yard to name a few. The event is at the Highlands Inn in Carmel, Feb 19-22. After the major dinners the Chefs hang out and then the real fun begins. Some of the Wineries in attendance are Krug, Margaux,Falveley,Lail, Pahlmeyer,Peter Michael,Spottswood, etc.
