I've heard interesting things about this restaurant in Northport (by the water). Unfortunately, it was closed today (Monday) when I went there so I was unable to try it.
Basically, it is a takeout place with 2-3 small tables inside. They serve pasta with meatballs that you takeout in a metal pot (which you get to keep or return another day to receive your deposit back--not sure how much the deposit is though). The menu also includes pasta with clam sauce, lobster roll and other strange, seemingly non-related items.
Has anyone tried this place? What are your thoughts?
