New Mariscos truck in University Heights.

Mariscos Tiburon - Brand new Mariscos truck on Texas street, a few blocks north from the Kiko's truck.

A very different take on all the mariscos taco standard dishes, other than the fish taco, which is as normal, but well done. The marlin taco is less vegetables and more shredded fish. The grilled shrimp taco is more shrimpy and cheesy than usual. The ceviche is less marinated (more raw) with much larger chunks of fish. They also have some specialty tacos such as the "adrian", which is shrimp and jalapenos sauteed in a sweet red sauce over rice.

Over all I'm very impressed. Nice to see something far from the ordinary at a mariscos truck.

Free soup seems to be hit and miss, half the time I get it, half not. The tacos are bigger than usual, which makes the prices quite reasonable. It's in a gas station parking lot, so beverages are close by. Service is friendly and bilingual. Tortillas are of the grocery store category, but oh well. No agua fresca, but I almost never see those at the trucks anyway.

Weird to see another truck so close to Kiko's. Hope they can make it. Business seems steady, but not busy so far.
