Where in Manhattan can I get a ham joint / Gammon

Would like to make ham from scratch this year, but I can't seem to find a cured ham joint anywhere! In fact people in the shops don't seem to know what I'm talking about when I ask for it. All they have are boneless fully cooked hams. Some are already cut into spirals and need nothing more than the glaze that comes in a packet attached to the ham and a bit of time in the oven.

What I'm looking for is the ham that is ONLY cured (mildly, if available), that I can cook/bake myself with my own flavors choices.

Any advice? I've tried Fairway Market and a couple of small butcher shops. A friend told me he thought he saw something like this being sold at Ikea, of all places! Doubt it though...

Thanks!
