I cut a Japanese squash in half with some water and will let it go all day. Depending on the kids mood, I will add some cream and stock and blend to make a soup or just eat with some butter and sugar. Last weekend I put in about 7 large fresh tomatoes from the garden and some stock, chopped onion, olive oil and a bit of sugar. Then let it go all day. Added salt and pepper to taste after I blended it with some cream. Yummy tomato soup. I also made a veggie soup with carrots and onions and celery. Added chopped chicken and baby spinach at the end.
