Disappointing. Waiter recommended the vegetable soup over the veggie salad -- it was a cup of clear broth, diced carrot and potato and a few others. Hot but bland. Had to ask for the advertised almond/basil pistou -- when I added a bit near the end it added some flavor but dominated and overwhelmed. Had the tenderloin -- two small medallions served atop a potato gratin. Served on a platter along with the soup, so lost a lot of its warmth. Pretty close to medium-rare, but at an ounce-and-a-half apiece at the most, not exactly satisfying. Profiteroles for dessert were good, about ping-pong ball size, two with a tiny pitcher of a good chocolate sauce. Service spotty -- very friendly but had to ask for bread and repeatedly to fill water and ice. (The couple next to me asked for a main salad with dressing on the side but it came dressed -- good thing was she ended up with twice the five very large shrimp when they replaced it.) Hardly a bargain -- lunch entrees on menu topped at $14 and came with the soup available as a choice of sides, and the profiteroles were at most half of the normal order.
