Madame Wu's Asian Bistro- The Grove

Horrible experience. Went there with my cousin who was in town and wanted to see LA, so I took him to the Grove to check out the farmer's market. I told him it was his choice, and he saw Madame Wu's and decided he wanted chinese.

We go there order the seafood pan fried noodle, mongolian beef, and pepper salted squid appetizer. All were average to below average. The pepper salted squid was WAY too salty. Mongolian beef was average, and the seafood pan fried chow mein was decent. The seafood on it was at least fairly good, but the noodles and sauce they used were flavorless. I got some vinegar from the busboy for the pepper salted squid, which helped a little. Panda Express was better than what they were serving.

To make matters worse, the service was atrocious. Quasi-actor type, we had to flag him down several times just to get a refill on our drinks. I had to ask the busboys to get some refills. The waiter did not voluntarily check on us ONCE the entire meal. Unbelievable. It wasn't even close to being crowded.

I should have gone to Loteria. I told my cousin I'm choosing where we eat next time.
