Madam Mam's Thai - Austin

I don't know why I waited so long to go back to this place on Guadalupe, but it is absolutely the best and most authentic Thai food in town (of the places that I've been to). We had green curry with pork and the pad thai (I always sample pad thai as a baseline dish, it was excellent). The green curry had two peppers by the name of the entree - I asked them to bump it up to three, and it was spicy as hell...some of the entrees went up to 5 peppers. Anyhow, there were about 10 other dishes I wanted to try. Very extensive menu and authentic, as evidenced by the number of asians eating there. Many dishes with magroot, palm sugar, galangal, fish sauce, etc. The whole meal came to $13.25! We only had water, though. No beer/wine served there, and I didn't see anyone packing in. Go there ASAP!!!!!

Any other thai places in Austin on this level?
