Aside from the novel taste obtained by puttung szhug instead of horseradish on gefilte fish my big pesach discovery was a much tastier macaroon.

Geffen brand coconut macaroons seemed to be baked more thoroughly than the other brands I tried, and as a result, had much better texture and more intense flavor than the others.
