LV Review

I just got back from a long weekend in LV and the following are my dining highlights:

Lotus of Siam - Finally made it there for dinner. Had the spicy chicken wings as an appetizer. I orderded the salmon panang and the wife had the seafood pad ped. We also split a bottle of wine and had the mango with sticky rice and coconut ice cream for dessert. Eveything was "spot on", we will be back with more people so we can try more dishes. Total for 2 people (including tax and tip) was just over $100.00

Mesa Grill - Excellent meal!!! Some of the highlights were a blue corn chip crusted halibut, veal chops and venison. The service was terrific and the wine suggestion was right on. The total for 6 people (including tax and tip) was just under $600.00.

Mon Ami Gabi - The only down side of the weekend. The mussels were off, in fact they took them off of the bill. The service was unattentive, the restaurant was only half full yet the server would disappear for inordinate amounts of time. Our entrees were fine but the mediocre service really was downer to a pleasent evening. The total for 9 people (including tax and tip) was just under $400.00
