lunch from Sham tdy

got lunch from Sham in S.M. tdy, craving falafel. theirs is very good, very crumbly texture (in a nice way, it's not like a rock!) and perfect balance of tahini sauce, onions, tomatoes and greens. but, the real treat was the "kishkay" appetizer: it is a creamy cheese w/ chopped onion (very subtle, tiny), mint and chopped walnuts, w/ some lovely green olive oil dizzled on top. delicious!!! lit up my whole mouth. we spread it on the pita that came with. it's so tart and creamy and luscious, the balance of flavor and the texture (w/ the chopped nuts for crunch), it's perfect. i hv never had this exact dish before (anywhere) and can't wait to have more. very rich, but soooo worth it. i nd to continue to work my way thru the vegetarian options from this place. my co-workers like the lamb....
