Well, after striking gold and finding a free parking space on 3rd St in the midst of First Friday, my friend and I wandered into Chloe at 7:30 pm and actually got a table immediately. We were thrilled.
We immensely enjoyed our starter--spicy indonesian prawns (6 of them) over corn cakes ($11). Delicious, freshly grilled prawns, nothing like it!
I had the wild mushroom pasta--5 homemade mushroom and cheese ravioli in a deep mushroom broth. It was simply, not too rich, just lovely ($16). My friend had the salmon nicoise salad, which I thought was a bit boring aside from the perfectly cooked (rare) salmon.
Our dessert was a smash-- strawberry rubarb cobbler with homemade whipped creeam. A perfect summer dessert.
All this with a fresh, bright Piersporter Michelsberg Spatlese 2000 (at $5 an incredible find)--a lovely evening.
The tab was $64 w/ tax and tip--not bad
