We went to Zon's in JP once again last night, this time ordering a burger (outstanding once again, and the handcut fries were perfect) and the macaroni and cheese (also excellent, with a touch of mustard and farfalle pasta). We started with the soup of the day, which was a creamy artichoke and fennel. The soup was out of this world, though each bowl cost $8, which caused a bit of sticker shock at the end of the night!
Zon's is becoming one of my favorite places, and based on the relatively subpar burger I had at O'Sullivan's a couple of weeks ago, I'm inclined to say that I'm liking Zon's burgers a little better than O'Sully's these days.
One final note: I had a beer there called Founders Red's Rye, which was brewed with rye instead of barley. I really liked it, though my S.O. looked a bit green after having a sip of it. Definitely a drink that's not for everyone! :-D
