I recently traded Florence for Boston, and am still learning which Boston markets will best accommodate my ingredient needs (broadly based on a Tuscan kitchen).
After reading previous posts, I guess that Dave's and Capone's are best for fresh pasta. I'd like to find great fresh egg fettuccine in particular, should anyone have a particular recommendation.
Also, although they're out of season, I'm hoping to find a reliable truffle source, if not for now, for next fall. Savenor's has been mentioned. Has anyone ever had a good bottled truffle experience?
