Louisiana Chowhound need help Re: Virginia Food and Wineries

My husband and I are headed to Virginia for a vacation this fall. We will be doing lots of the usual tourist things, like spending some time in Williamsburg, Middleburg, driving and visiting the both the Skyline and Blue Ridge Parkway, and probably spending some time near Charlottesville. We love food and wine and will want to try some good of both. We will be in Viginia for two weeks.

We already have a reservation for the "Dinner in the Garden" at Patowmack Farms near Middleburg, and will probably make a reservation at Four and Twenty (near Washington). I have read good things about C&O, Vivace, Hamilton, Oxo, and Thai 99 in Charlottesville. In Williamsburg we may want to try The Trellis, Cities Grille, and at least one pub. Additionally, we have not completely ruled out The Inn at Little Washington for a meal.

We know nothing about the wineries up there. Have read some good things about Linden, Naked Mountain, Horton Cellars, WhiteHall, Barbourville, and Rappahanock.

We would love any and all feed back to the above thoughts and any additional suggestions as to where to eat and which wineries to visit. Also while I'm at it any suggestions on where to stay?

Thanks for your help.
Jean
