Hello All! There are quite a few posts like this that I have already looked through, but none that hit exactly what I was trying to do right on the head. I need a little bit of help. My husband and I are all set to go the UK next week and have the eating schedule below planned - I really need some advice and help with the question marked mealtimes. This is our first vacation since our honeymoon to Montreal seven years ago and I hope to make it really nice! We love good food and we love greasy food as you will see from the proposed list below - let those comments fly....
Lunch - Great Queen Street
Dinner - J. Sheekey Oyster Bar (did I mention we are trying to be as frugal as possible?)
(chose J. Sheekey for proximity to theatre district)
Drinks (after play) - ???
Breakfast - St. John Bread and Wine (only time that works out)
Lunch - The Queen's Larder, Russell Square (close, sorf-of, to Kings Cross Station)
Dinner - Edinburgh - Whiski
Late Night - Edinburgh - Cafe Piccante for greasy fried food (my husband's insistence for a Munchy Box)
Lunch - Kitchin in Leith
Then with friends until Sunday night dinner back in London, staying in the West End - looking for a fabulous Indian restaurant and don't really want to go all the way cross-town to Tayyabs??Help.
