LIRR stop in JAMAICA QUEENS, where to eat? back to LA and some stories too!

im flying back to LA tomorrow. idiotically im flying out of islip.
so im taking the LIRR which stops in jamaica queens. there must be some good stuff out there, but im taking a semi heavy bag. anything nearby? a quick taxi ride or a 10-15 minute walk from the station?

my last eating day today:
took the f into the lower east side and walked to russ and daughters. got some scotch salmon, some salmon pastrami and some smoked sable. walked it up to davids bagels. (some people here preferred it to ess-a) considered stopping in but was dissuaded by the looks of the place and the chinese employees. (im chinese myself but damnit, i dont want to buy a bagel in new york from chinese fools!) continued on to ess-a bagel. combined the two purchases, ate, and nearly creamed my pants.
walked down to st. marks, hung a left and got a crif dog with cole slaw and avocado. im no connoisseur. a hot dogs basically a hot dog to me. whatever. coffee at porto rico, then happy hour pints at lit. then down to katz for pastrami, another hot dog and some matzo ball soup.

im stuffed...

this might piss some people off. but langers deli in LA is better than katz imho. my main complaint is the bread at katz. the bread at langers is crazy unreal. soft interior with a great crusty crust. i like the handcut presentation at katz however.
