Enjoyed a fabulous meal at Liberatore's in Timonium last night. Despite our early reservation at 6:30pm, the place was PACKED and people were flooding in. Hubby and I both had house salads- in the past I recall them being tossed with the dressing but they are now placing the dressing on top of the greens, peppers, olives and cucumbers. LOTS of dressing. I had a pasta margarita with grilled shrimp added (suggestion of the fabulous waiter with friendly recommendations) and hubby had the "Black & Bleu" which was fettuccini in marinara with grilled chicken and bleu cheese topped. Also well prepared and delicious. We finished our meal with a HUGE piece of tiramisu and smiles on our faces.
The interior space is lovely, but the outside has changed dramatically over the years- with a fantastic outdoor space with fireplace and fountain and terrace overhead. We seem to go here more in the cool weather- so have never taken advantage of this beautiful space- which sounds funny when you realize it's basically in the middle of a suburban office building parking lot.
Full disclosure: I was a stand-in coat check girl here 20 years ago (ack- am I that old?) and think it's as popular as it was back then. The staff has changed, but the great food & service hasn't!
