Lee's restaurant in West Seattle

Need some feedback here: I've eaten at Lee's on California St. a couple of times now - the food is good (the 7 spice beef is fantastic), but I'm not sure about the service. At lunch it was ok, but not great. But at dinner last night, it was just bad.

No one seemed interested in taking our order, and when we were discussing the 4 tea options, it wasn't until we ordered one that we were informed that they were out of that one, plus one other.

After our order was taken, I watched as a served placed a covered red laquered rice bowl on the bar, behind our table. We waited for our food for 20 minutes (at 5pm, only one other table occupied), and that same bowl was delivered to our table, with the now-cold rice. (Didn't have a chance to return it, my companion was so hungry she dove in. So I can't say how they would have handled that.)

Our duck dish arrived 20 minutes later than our other food - we were thinking they'd forgotten it.

We have enjoyed the food, but wonder if the service is worth it - this may be just a take out place for us from now on. Actually, they do a terrific take out business, based on what we saw both times. If you've eaten there, can you please share your experience? Just want to avoid bad service if it's the norm.
