My DH and I were recently in Paris for 5 nights, and we had an AMAZING time overall. Unfortunately, we met up with our dearest friends from home for one night (a Sunday) and following recommendations on this board, had made reservations at Le Partage. My girlfriend and I considered the plethora of options given by other hounds, but Le Partage won us over with its wonderful looking ambiance and menu. We made reservations about six weeks in advance from home, then confirmed again upon arrival in Paris. We were SHOCKED to arrive at Le Partage for our dinner and to discover the restaurant is now Indian/Pakistani...not what we had hoped to experience in Paris on this particular night. Never were we told by the restaurant that they had changed ownership and menus. We were so utterly disappointed!!! We walked over to Mon Vieil Ami, but they wouldn't seat us (something about closing early for inventory), and ended up eating a terrible meal at some random restaurant on Isle St. Louis...albeit with good pomme frites!
I would HIGHLY recommend Les Papilles, however. Our first, and best, meal during the course of our stay was there. Magnifique!
Hope to spare someone else this unfortunate surprise regarding Le Partage!
