Restaurants & Bars

Le Margaux

As much as a restaurant deserves a complaint when they serve bad food and the service is horrible, so does a restaurant deserve a compliement when they do everything right.

I had a surperb lunch yesterday at Le Margaux on Parc & Laurier.

A nice restaurant with a pleasant relaxed decor and small terrace.

They have a chalk board with the day's table hote offerings.

I had a Pot au Feux, Magret Du Canard, Cocunut Ice Cream with mint & coffee all for $13.50 before tax and tip!

My dining companion chose a tomatoe & boccachino salad, bavette with blue cheese, peach sorbet & coffee $14.50 before tax & tip.

The food, presentation and service were flawless and for the price how can any go wrong.

The evening prices while a bit higher, seem to be quite reasonable.

If you are in the area make sure to try it out.

One suggestion would be to have more wine by the glass, presently they only offer three.
