Well, they haven't lost their touch.
All three courses were "over the top" in terms of quality. Had wild mushroom ravioli many times, but Le Bec's was the best by far. Taste of the mushrooms, perfect al dente on the ravioli, ample succulent sauce.
Main course: rack of lamb, medium rare; had it so many times, how did theirs manage to go to the head of the pack? Not the quantity, but the quality of the meat, the deep flavor of the sauce, lovely presentation of chard/mushrooms and some bechamel sauce.
Dessert cart a garden of delights; with no inhibition against tasting as much as one would like. For me one sliver of chocolate cake; a small slice of pistachio torte and some poached pears were more than enough. Great decaf--gracious service; $54 and well worth it.
