Seven Layer Bars

Now, these barely qualify as home cooking- really it's just assembling with a bit of cooking mixed in. And it's hardly good for you in any way. But it's fast and easy and people love it.

1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 1/3 cups shredded coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

(can use any kind of chips- we used dark chocolate
)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Either melt the butter and pour it into a 13x9 inch pan, or put the butter in the pan and let it melt in the hot oven. Turn the pan to evenly coat bottom and sides with butter and spread the crumbs in a thin layer in the butter. Layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and nuts over crumbs. Pour condensed milk over nuts as evenly as you can. Sprinkle coconut over condensed milk (if you don't like browned coconut, put the coconut in first.) Bake until edges are golden brown, about 25 minutes. Let it cool before trying to cut.
