Laurel hits the spot again

Another really enjoyable night out at Laurel: cocktails, a nice bottle of bargain-priced Bordeaux, and four entrees: a grilled pizza with turkey meatballs, pan-braised cod, cider-brined pork chop, and a lovely strip steak with chimichuri sauce and good fries. Barely had room for a little ice cream and some port. $75/couple, with very attentive service on a pretty hopping night (the bar was completely jammed).

I love hitting that $15 average entree price point. Given the all-around level of the experience, this place is a real bargain, and has been very consistent on several recent visits.
