So I finally tried the new Lark on 12th, behind Seattle U. I once openly wept at Lumiere in Vancouver; and I came close to tears at Lark. Every dish we tried was a jewel-box of flavor pairing, and the space is intimate and gorgeous. (The waitstaff was also that mix of hot and knowledgable that's... well... even hotter.)
Jonathan Sundstrom cleaned up the impossible mess that was Earth & Ocean, so it's not a big surprise that he's doing just as brilliant of a job with his own place. It's a long menu with lots of small plates. We tried only eight--anyone have recommendations from across the menu for next time we go?
