Need some advice from Food People
Booked the whole Laboratorio for our Tenth Anniversary. Paid our deposit three months ago and at that time we were told that Robert Donna would be there.
Called yesterday to confirm our number of people and were told that he will not be there.
We have already printed the invitations and already sent info on Donna to guests. Is $125 a person plus wine, tip and taxes to much to pay when the 'Chefs Table' chef is gone? I figure we are paying a premium for him around 200 a person, a lot of money.
Thanks in advance for the advice, what should I do? Ask for a discount of a free round of drinks/wine?
