Spent four days there over Labor Day weekend -- lunches at Gabrielle, Galatoire's and CP -- all excellent. Dinners at Brigtsen's, Bayona and Dante's Kitchen -- enjoyed them all -- Brigtsen's is still hitting on all cylinders! Comparison of Dante's Kitchen to Brigtsen's reminds me of comparison of Castle Hill in Austin to Jeffrey's there. Not quite as good, but a great comparitive bargain.
Best dish? Aside from the crabmeat maison at Galatoire's, which is in a league of its own, the seafood platter at Brigtsen's.
Great weekend, just too much rich food in too short a time!
