Little sis just moved up to SF after living in LA all her life, to go to law school at Hastings. Poor thing is super busy and a bit overwhelmed, and doesn't have much time for anything but frozen dinners and Deli Select turkey slices. I saw her fridge. Not much money either, as she is not only a student, but paying a lot for her apt!
I would love to compile a list of recs for her so she can take a break from the drudgery of books and frozen dinners, and appeal to your knowledge and expertise.
Near Hastings, her apt (Lombard and Divisadero), or en route in between.
Cheap. A few lunch places for $5-7 pp, maybe a slightly nicer dinner place ($10-12 pp). A coffee shop or cafe where she can study w/a cup of joe would be great too.
A healthy option. She is occasionally into healthy, salads, and sometimes low carb, although I'm sure that this will go down the drain during finals prep.
No huge long popularity lines nor long waits for service (bc she is pressed for time).
Strange girl doesn't like Chinese, but will eat dim sum. I think she is ok w/all other cuisines.
Thank you for helping me be a good big sis!!!
