I'm all set to make bulgogi for the first time tonight. I'm picking up some pre-sliced beef from the butcher and have some rice ready to go.
Now, the only thing I need to get is the Bulgogi paste that one slathers on the beef and lettuce. It usually comes to the table in a little dipping bowl and is reddish brown.
Does anybody know what this dipping paste is called? I'm going to the Korean grocery store in Koreatown to pick it up.
