My husband and I are taking our 5-to-be-6 year old while in NYC son for a week in Oct (AMNH, FAO Schwarz, Statue of Liberty, etc for the kid). Both hubby and I have been to NYC 3 times without the kiddo.

We will be staying around Herald Square on the outskirts of Koreatown, where hubby and I have stayed before.

We'd like some recommendations on kid-friendly restaurants both in Koreatown and Midtown, or anywhere in NYC that's easy to get to with a kiddo (ie not walk too much).

Six year old son is not an adventurous eater but loves jja jang myeun (Korean-Chinese black bean sauce noodles). I DO NOT LIKE Hyo Dong Gak's noodles. We prefer more sweet, less onions if that makes sense....
I'm not impressed by Don's Bogam.

Other eating plans include -

John's Pizzeria on Bleecker
Paris Baguette
Arang (for spicy Korean rice cakes)
Bonchon chicken

Thanks!
