The other day I was in search of a creamy, cheezy pasta with an old friend of mine in the Hongdae area. What I found was 'Tanto tanto', an Italian resto (trot down the road from Hongdae toward the broadcasting station and take the right turn at the three-forked way) resting on the left side of the road, a step back from the path. I thought this was the place and stepped in. The place was full of diners so my friend and I had to wait, wait and wait.
We might have been bored out of waiting if it were not for the roomful of antiques and jewelry that surely looked fit to be in a musuem. I thought the proprietor brilliant for thinking up this idea to help guests kill time.
We finally got seats and ordered Fusilli Ragu Rosi, Linguine Ragu Rosi each and dinner salad. The given bread tasted somewhat special as it was cooked firsthand by the chef. Food was great and most of all, from tiny pieces of earrings to a real size rocking horse, the place was full of eye-catching stuff.
