Decided against turkey for the first time in favor of splurging on chinese food this past wednesday.

Started with drunken squab which was well prepared overall but the wine was slightly overpowering. This was followed by the crab and fish maw soup, not much crab should have gone with the snake soup special instead. The highlight of the evening was the "whole abalone & fish maw with oyster sauce". The abalone was tender but still with good resilience and the sauce was well flavored and did not overpower the flavour of the abalone, delicious preparation!. Last was steamed spot shrimp with garlic over "tung-fun". I felt that the shrimp was slightly overdone and smaller than I hoped for, but ok otherwise.

Not perfect but it's been too many years since I've had high-end chinese food so this was a lot of fun. Also having the option of ordering better quality tea (jasmine pearl this time) does enhance and elevate the overall dining experience.

Any recommendations on where I should try next for this kind of food?
