Ko-Hi-Noor, again, in Yorktown

I am going to post another message about Ko-Hi-Noor in hopes that other people will post about their tips and experience with ordering here.

I again ordered (because I love it so much) the Hydrabadi Mirchi chicken. It is a naturally spicy dish but I ordered it extra spicy. Boy was it spicy but in a perfect kind of way. It didn't over power the spices or taste. It is such a phenomenal dish!

I also ordered the lamb samosas which I didn't like that much. They tend to put raisins and nuts (almonds and cashews) in their food such as the samosas and the plain basmati rice, which is given with each dish. I don't like nuts or raising in my 'savory' foods so I have a problem with this. My solution for the rice is to get the meal as takeout and make my own naan and rice at home.

I know if I don't get any recommendations from other chowhounders I will always only order the Hydrabadi chicken. This is so not chowhounding, but why take a chance on another dish when I know I will be ecstatic with the usual?

I hope to get some good rec's on other dishes!
