Kim Loan Vietnamese/Chinese Fullerton (review)

Well, I brought the whole family (reluctant companions) to Kim Loan in Fullerton for the first time, per recommendations from fellow chowhounds.

We all *loved* the bbq'd beef & chicken. Wow, it has been a long time since I have paid $3.75 for such a delicious entree!!!

I am not an expert on Pho (understatement), but the Pho we had near the 99 Ranch Market in Little Saigon was SO much better than Kim Loan's. My daughter said "It's too sweet". But, eating with a 2 and 6 year old is quite hectic and her comment got lost in the hubbub. I tasted the soup again and said "This doesn't taste as beefy as the Pho we had before". My 6 year old daughter replied "Yeah, it's too sweet". Oh, now I know what she meant. Not only was it not beefy-tasting, but it was also too sweet.

Is there a really good Pho to be found in the Fullerton area--I really love a "good Pho"?

We will definitely be back to Kim Loan for their BBQ's meats--what a bargain!!!!!!
