Kiddush in Brooklyn

emacat | Feb 23, 2012 12:25 PM

I am looking for a recommendation for a caterer for kiddush in Brooklyn. I called Meisner's, and they sound good, but would like to compare a few others. I know Dovid Malka has been highly recommended on this board, but they don't have waiters, warming ovens, etc, and I don't know where to look for those (recommendations on getting around that issue are, of course, welcome). I am looking for good food at a reasonable price, does not have to be the usual Ashkenaz fare; we are open to other ideas, but does have to be a sit-down lunchen type of meal. We will have about 150 people. I am also open to the idea of ordering and picking up food from one or more places, if the food warrants it.
I truly don't know much about this type of thing; we usually entertain at home, a large catered kiddush is new to me.
Thanks!
