Went to Keur N Dye (Fulton Street in Fort Greene, around the corner from the Cambodian place) Friday night with two others and all of us had a kick-ass meal! I had the chicken yassa, which was delicious: chicken and a nice bed of couscous in a very tasty lemony-oniony sauce. Another person ordered lamb mafe, which is a peanut sauce, which was better than prior mafes I've had there, and the other one got an oxtail stew that was OK (I'm not a big oxtail fan in general). It is washed down with a delicious punch, a mixture of sorrel and ginger beer.
I've had other meals at this place before, but for some reason, Friday night was stellar while prior visits have just been OK.
Down Fulton Street some is another Senegalese restaurant called Joloff. I'm going to try it soon, but I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with it.
