Since I mentioned our bad experience at Keefer's in my trip report a couple of weeks back, I thought it only fair that I return and say that Keefer's response to my letter was quick, thorough, gracious, and more than satisfactory.
Has anyone ever successfully convinced a vehemently "I won't complain at restaurants" person over to the other side, and if so, how??? I mean, if I order something and just don't like it, that's on me; but when waitstaff are bumping into my head and my steak is inedible?!??! Mom did consent to me writing the letter, at least (not that she could have stopped me!) For me, I feel it's important that it doesn't happen to others who follow, and if management doesn't know, how are they going to fix it?
In the end, we are both content, and Keefer's redeemed itself, so hooray.
