It was one of the best meals I have had in NY, for a long time (and I have gone to Hearth, Nobu, Jewel Baku, Gramercy Tavern etc.).
We had the seared beef salad, the chicken skin, salmon tartar, edamame, fried oyster, fried tofu, Kasadela special chicken wings, eel salad, vegetable croquettes and mackerel with radish. All of the dishes were great with the exception of the croquettes which were bland. The stand outs were the chicken skin, eel salad, chicken wings and the seared beef salad. The sake was great too and all in all we had a really fun evening. The service was great and very nice. This is hands down my most favorite restaurant in NY. Glad to say that it was not empty, actually got full around 9 yet was also not over flowing with people (a good thing to me).
I am donating money to Chowhound because I first heard of this restaurant through this site.
