Relocated Kajitsu now has a spin-off restaurant downstairs, called Kokage, which, unlike vegetarian-focused Kajitsu, serves seafood dishes.
I tried their 'Ichiju Sansai', composed of yuba + uni + ankake sauce, fried red snapper + vegetables, steamed rice, aka-dashi miso shiru with sakura-fu, and pickled vegetables (tsukemono). Everything was tasty with those wonderfully subtle flavours that I used to experience at Kajitsu, plus seafood!
I heard they will serve sushi from next week too,
No reservations. Walk-in only. Open for lunch only too.
