Due to work at Lincoln Center, I've been eating
at Josefina's and must compliment their simple,
tasty, well-proportioned cooking. Today they
had a smooth, rich, thick black bean soup
topped with minute chives. They baked an
onion-rosemary topped which was ideal to mop up
the leftover drops. While dining with pleasure,
in walked Madonna, looking worse in person than
one sees in the Media: her presence was no
match for the meatloaf with homemade mashed
potatoes with herbs in front of me. This is
what meatloaves elsewhere aspire to.Their juice
blends are theoretically more interesting than
the reality.
