The DC Zurer clan made a long delayed revisit to La Plata this afternoon and enjoyed some of the best ribs we have eaten in a while. Meaty, succulent and tasty, the two slabs we almost finished were great. Michael even opined that they were better than Lem's from Chicago, the current reigning standard bearer. The sauce was superb as well....
We also shared two minced pork sandwiches which were excellent.
This would make a good Chowhound outing for a warm autumn afternoon....the location is only about 35 minutes south of the Beltway at Branch Avenue. Anyone interested?
