I'm trying to remember the name of a Japanese place I ate at about two years ago.
It's at basement level (go down a few steps from the street).
It's either on Avenue A, or near it.
It has very good sashimi and a nice sake selection.
The specialty there (or one of them) is noodles. They serve at least udon and soba. They have a cold soba dish with a few pieces of grilled chicken and a warm broth. The price for the noodles is roughly $17.
