I'm in Tokyo for the next 4 days and I'm searching for what I think are Japanese peppercorns, possibly related to the sichuan peppercorn. I think there is an article about them in the current issue of Saveur magazine, of course which I forgot to bring along. The article mentions they can be found vacuum packed (and ready for travel back to the states) in the market around Tsukiji. Went hunting today and couldn't find them by sight, but I couldn't remember what they are called in Japanese. Can anyone advise? I'd love to bring them back home since I'm over here, but have no idea how to ask for them.
