Italian in Chinatown:Forlinis

I am on jury duty and have gained 5 pounds by eating a
large lunch everyday. I got dragged to Forlini's and
loved it. The pansarotti (sp?) were terrific, the
conch and scungilli salad sparkled. But don't stray
off the beaten track of the specials and the
favorites. My friend's minestrone soup was inedible.
I noticed that everyone gets the same few dishes:
eggplant parm, ziti in vodka sauce etc.. It's classic
southern Italian food - but with a light touch. What
a surprise, since the decor is dreadful.
