Now my 2 favorite bakeries have closed. The first was the Bees Knees on Colorado .. between Eagle Rock and Pasadena. They used an Italian Buttercream frosting that was not sweet but more heavy and creamy. When they closed I found another bakery in Sierra Madre called Wildflour Baking Co. It's birthday time of the year in our family and I couldn't believe that they have been sold and no longer feature this type of frosting. I don't like sweet sugary icing / frosting. I also loved their caramel buttercream filling with a chocolate frosting cake. Where do I find something similar?
