ISO: Chili threads

I was watching iron chef recently and discovered a new ingredient: Chili threads. I didn't give it much thought, until I saw this same ingredient pop up several times since on several other shows. This got me intrigued.

Any ideas where this can procured in Montreal? I read online that it is used in Korean cuisine, but not exclusively.

If anyone has seen this, or knows where I can get some, it would be greatly appreciated.
