ISO Banh Bia

autumnlilacs | Sep 13, 2010 09:15 AM

Hi all! I'm searching for banh bia, which is a Vietnamese pastry composed of flaky layers surrounding mung bean paste, durian or both. It's very similar to the Taiwanese mung bean pastry, lu dou tu (綠豆凸) I think I've seen some banh bia sitting on the counter at Paris Sandwich, but I'm hoping to find a bakery that sells fresh ones. Here's what they generally look like: http://lilynguyen2007.blogspot.com/20...
Thanks!
