Sit at the sushi bar...head chef Yeung (Korean, trained in Japan) has both flair and imagination. His presentations on lovely stoneware platters are works of art. His station is to the far left as you walk in.
Try fresh/live Sea Urchin served in the shell.
Scallops battered with almonds and flash fried.
Tuna tartare...like a hawaiian poke.
Wafer thin red snapper sashimi with olive oil, asparagus, flash fried onions and garlic...amazing!!
Two of us ate supremely well, left fully satisfied and the food portion of the bill was $55!
Let Yeung guide you and you may discover something completely new....tonight we had WHITE TUNA...never saw it before and never heard of it but it was delicious...he served it as sashimi with a garlic ponzu on a plate that was like a painting.
Well worth a drive.....
