Something interesting for lunch today: Baza's house-made kielbasa

Saw some of these bad boys coiled up in their hot bar and thought I'd try some, so I put a 4-inch section in my to-go container. I'm nom-noming it now back at the office.

It's fantastic! Natural casing, coarse meat-y filling, with a harmony of spices, none overpowering the meaty taste. and little colorful bits of this that and the other. And I get plenty of garlic taste.

These would go great in a hearty, winter-y soup (like solyanka), plain, or even on a toasted potato roll. Hell, throw some ajvar on there.

Their potato pancakes are good too (crispy edges, very potato-y tasting), but only when just brought out, as you can imagine.

Anyway, cool sausage bro.
